Accounting in the Cloud – Migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to ZohoBooks

Project
Overview

We successfully migrated 3 years of accounting data, comprising over 75,000 transactions, from QuickBooks Desktop to Zoho Books for an IT services company. The dataset included service invoices, expense records, client information, and various IT industry-specific financial documents.

Reason for the
Switch

The client sought to transition to a cloud-based accounting solution to improve collaboration and integrate with other Zoho products they were already using, such as Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects.

Outcome of the
Switch

The migration to Zoho Books enabled enhanced collaboration and improved accessibility for the client’s organization. Further, they were able to integrate their accounting solution with their existing Zoho-based project management and customer relationship management systems.
